Our story
“When 1 + 1 equals Infinity” tells the story of people who dare to discover more, to imagine more, and to think harder. It also celebrates a spirit of taking small steps consistently and and how that can lead to big changes.
We are launching this collection of science-inspired and beauty-in-action T-shirts on the occasion of the first-ever viewing of the image of a black hole. "When 1+1 equals infinity" is in love with the idea of teams working together on seemingly impossible missions that can make a lasting impact.
The first collection is named "Finding your stars".
We say: show some love for our Universe.
Our first collection: "finding your stars"
Our first collection was inspired by the exciting news that scientists around the world have been able to put together an image of a black hole.
We were inspired by the collaborative work of many dedicated individuals and teams and the scientific beauty of what we now can see as much as the art required in doing science.
The collection consists of 5 designs (with a little bit of scientific humour included).
Our second collection: "may the (gravity bends light) force be with you"
Our second collection is launched in celebration of the 100th anniversary of Sir Arthur Eddington’s expedition to observe the total solar eclipse of 29 May 1919 as a test of Einstein’s theory of general relativity (which predicted the path of the light would be displaced due to gravity of the Sun).
The results contributed to the revolution in our way of thinking about our Earth and the universe.
We hope you like these 4 new designs!
Our “mini” collection: “when you wish upon the Moon”
We have designed a mini-collection to celebrate the 50th anniversary of Man’s landing on the Moon on 20 July.
What an achievement and what a wonderful moment to remember it and be inspired again.
We have always reached out for the Moon - is it a wonder that a famous Chinese poet wanted to invite Lady Moon to come down from the Sky to drink with him?
Be inspired by these 4 designs!
